I have followed install guide and used the bash script on Ubuntu 14.04, but after running service actor start, etc there still seems to be no services running on any ports. Attempting to start actor by calling # actor seems to start the service, but not understand how to use the configuration file.

In using actor platform edition for android app we have a problem that after some minutes no notifications are received from app and it seems that app's service is stopped. What can I do for that? Thanks to your team for your nice app

I am trying to setup the actor-server on IntelliJ, and configure the actor-bootstrap/app-web to run with my local server. I am not using SSL currently. I have placed my server.conf in acotr-platform/actor-server/conf folder and specified my activation provider as "im.actor.server.activation.internal.InternalCodeProvider". The server starts up smoothly. I have changed the end point in app-web to point to ws://127.0.0.1:9080(Not using wss) But, when I open the web page, the connection resets automatically at the frontend.
